Geographical Location

Lentigione is a small town between Parma and Reggio Emilia, located in the North-Centre Italy 90 kilometres northern from Bologna.

History

The factory was established in 1960, production was originally oriented to the manufacturing of agricultural equipment. In 1966 the first liftruck was built, which was a sideloader, and in 1986 the Company launched two successful product lines, the empty container handling Liftruck and Reachstacker. In 2009 the company became a part of Terex.

Diverse Handling Solutions

Terex Cranes Lentigione builds Stackers and lift trucks for handling empty and full containers as well as general cargo. The range offers solutions for handling different types of cargo, such as marble, pipe, steel, concrete, coils, and any heavy load to be handled in ports, even inside the RoRo ships. Terex Cranes Lentigione operates mainly in the Port Equipment market worldwide, having important customers, such as Public as well as Private Ports, marine Companies and shipping lines.

Production

Lift trucks: trucks for lifting cargoes by a vertical mast, mounted on the front of the machine. This simple and reliable equipment is versatile to various types of loads, by means of different applications. Terex produces a wide range of forklifts: for handling empty containers, able to stack them up to the 8th height, when full containers, with a maximum lifting capacity of 50 tons, for handling general cargoes through forks and other attachments, with a capacity of 12 to 50 tons.

Reach Stackers: cranes moving cargoes, mainly containers, through a boom, being able to rotate them, and granting high stability. In the range there are models for handling empty containers, stacking them up to the 7th height; reach stackers for handling full containers can reach up to 70 tons capacity, combining Ports and Rail operations.

Side Lifts: used mainly in warehouses, lifting the cargo by the side, their capacity goes from 3 to 40 tons. Thanks to their high manoeuvrability they can pass through narrow aisles and are easily used in warehouses.

Sales and Service

This location provides sales support for Reach Stackers, Lift Trucks and Side Lifts, as well as service and spare parts throughout the world.
